On Tuesday at Citizens Park, Adelphi Christian Academy made the best of rain-soaked conditions defeating Step of Faith Christian Academy of Ridgeland 7-0 in the school's first varsity high school soccer game.

There are a handful of area junior golfers whose names are consistently near the top of leaderboards whenever they are in the field for an event. Aiken native Landon Coontz is one of those players.
Adelphi Christian Academy named head coaches for the fall sports program. Both the varsity volleyball and soccer teams are in their first season being offered by the school which has previously been known as Aiken Christian School.

Grant is a 2002 graduate of Aiken High School, where she was a four-year letter winner in volleyball, basketball and track. She averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game as a senior, and she was an all-state selection and the recipient of the Johanna Gibbs Award.
